The Merkabah is composed of two tetrahedrons forming a six-pointed star. The energy fields of mental, spirit and body move in opposite directions providing protection, power and spiritual development.
Merkabah stones have an energy field around them. They create an energy field that is all their own and can be used as a generator. You can use them between other stones—put between stones that represent heaven and earth they can generate a harmonious higher field of energy. They can be used as a generator for anything. Merkabahs have been cut in quartz crystal but you can also find Merkabahs in other stones such as Amethyst, Rose Quartz, Aventurine and Amber.
The Merkabah shape is a star tetrahedron consisting of two inter-penetrating three-sided pyramids. “Mer” means Light. “Ka” means Spirit. “Ba” means Body. It links the mind, spirit, and body to produce the Merkabah effect, an energy field that allows for enlightenment. Together they connect you to your divine essence, fostering balance.
Merkabah is a Hebrew word that when translated into its three components, means Vehicle of Light. It is also known as Star Tetrahedron.
The Hebrew word merkaba (מֶרְכָּבָה) means "chariot". In Jewish mysticism, it is a complex symbol that represents the divine chariot of God as described in the book of Ezekiel in the Bible. This chariot with the proper preparation helps you to ascend to heaven.
There are a number of spiritual energy fields which surround a person’s physical body. Each individual field, when activated in a Merkabah, expands one’s consciousness. Each individual spiritual energy field is associated with a different dimensional reality. The Merkabah energy field represents the third dimensional level and is our gateway to fourth dimensional realities.
The Merkabah energy field is displayed throughout ancient temples and cathedrals around the world. This wide spread knowledge of the Merkabah spiritual energy indicates that at one time this field was known by people throughout the world. These knowledgeable people range from the builders of the ancient temples in Egypt, India, Israel, Japan and Tibet to Christians, who built the monastery at Mount San Michael. The Merkabah can be used as a system of divination, healing, meditation, and connecting with the All That Is.

I started wearing Merkabah about 22 years ago. I found a beautiful amber Merkabah necklace at the Tucson Gem Show when I was there in January to purchase stones and beads for my jewelry business. I took the amber Merkabah necklace home and hung it from a shelf near my bed. I liked to hang my necklaces so I could view the stones from my bed. One night when I was looking at the stones I could feel them communicating with me. They seemed so full of energy. So I started wearing them and then I felt more full of energy! My clairvoyant students saw the Merkabah beads and asked me to see if I could get some for them. So I purchased amber and crystal Merkabah stones and included them in the necklaces I created for my students..
I made necklaces while I was in college to raise spending money. After graduation, when I started teaching natural healng and clairvoyancy I noticed that many of my students were carrying stones in their pockets. From my perspective it is more powerful to choose only one or two special stones and to wear them as a necklace or bracelet, rather than carrying 5 or 6 heavy stones in your pocket. Soon I was making all sorts of necklaces with intention ---to attract love,; to find strength in abusive ; to align yourself with natural healing energy; to spread harmony in your life; and to feel grounded and protected. Of course the stone helps you to align yourself to the vibration of the stone you choose. Try it sometime. It really gives you the permission to shift your consciousness at will when you pick an intention and use a specific stone to focus through.
